Ballet

Here are a few pictures from Taylor's first ballet class. She was very excited... even more so than she was to start school. Chris and I certainly have a performer on our hands.

Trip to Grammy and Pop-pop's House

I know we've sort of fallen off the radar recently. The lack of posts means we're busy enjoying life and not having much time to sit down and write about it. Being under my mom's roof always allows me a bit more time to kick back and relax, so I thought I'd share some photos from all the fun we've been having here in sunny Florida.

There are several more that just won't upload. We've had a perfect trip with mom and Dan. We will all be a little sad to leave tomorrow. We always love time with two of our favorite people and look forward to seeing them again in October.

I hope you enjoyed the post. Not sure when I'll be posting again... we're still here nevertheless.

Sights around Doha

In the Souq

Part of the Souq is a series of restaurants. We stopped for coffee and a snack

Getting ready to drink some good coffee

Nothing noteworthy about this picture. I just thought the architecture is neat.

Downtown Doha, with a Dhow in the foreground

This was a really pretty interior courtyard. That is a fountain in the middle in the middle

This is an area under development called "The Pearl - Qatar" Eventually, this will be the super high-rent district with lots of exclusive shops. Not sure why we went here, I think we had a language issue with our driver. We didn't stay long.

Doha has some unique architecture

Downtown

My Only Day Off

The entrance to the carnival in the mall
The best part about this mall is that they have these suped-up go karts that you can race. It's really really cool. There's a video below.

This is a huge mall. They have an entire area that is an indoor carnival.

The Aspire Tower, outside of the Villagio Mall. It was built for the 2006 Asian Games. That little platform looking thing on the right is a swimming pool. There's a huge torch on top.

The Spaceship Project

Just some images from an assignment I had to do for school.
